CREATIVITY
Builds essential physical and artistic skills using foundational contemporary release technique with a Jazzart flair. Training is comprehensive, covering contemporary dance principles like improvisation and contact improvisation. Specific conditioning through chair, floor, and rhythm work is included, ensuring that dancers achieve both technical excellence and a dynamic, creative voice unique to African contemporary dance.
GROWTH
Develop the trainee as a whole professional, focusing on core professional skills and interpersonal values necessary for industry success. Key development areas include professionalism, punctuality, commitment and effective communication. Trainees are also expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic, dedication, and mutual respect, understanding the rigor and discipline required of a full-time career.
IMPACT
Aim to create cultural ambassadors and drive positive social change. The process is guided by principles of social cohesion, inclusive spaces, and transformative learning, ensuring trainees understand dance's power for social impact.
